Bell was back live on Sunday. First hour was without a doubt one of the most entertaining hours of c2c history. JC dropped by for a chat. Art taunted him into admitting that he looks at pornography, for research purposes (yeah, that one is real believable JC). The best thing was that the old Art was there, the fun and twisted host I remember with such fondness from the past. The rest of the show was Charles Shults talking about Mars and Space. Since I missed most of Shults I don’t feel able to comment on that part of the show.
Monday - first hour guest was Loren Coleman pretty much just ripping on Biscardi for the entire time. Biscardi popped in to say something bad about Coleman and tell George that he would explain everything the following night. The rest of the show was George Haas and William Saunders talking about Cydonia. I had wondered earlier in the week if such a show could pass by without Hoagie showing up and the answer was no. Hoagie showed up the last hours (if I remember correctly) and George pretty much gave over hosting duties to him for the first of what would become two times this week. Hoagie did liven up the show a bit so I am not complaining.
Tuesday - On first hour to give his completely unbelievable explanation for not having a captured Bigfoot was the one and only Tom Biscardi. George bitch slapped him several times and then went to open lines and allowed the audience to do the same. More on this in Grey Matters next Tuesday. Again, I did not get to listen to the entire show, but I think Charles Pellegrino was pretty interesting from what I did hear and I plan to finish listening soon.
Wednesday - George had on Astrologist Mark Lerner. I found this show pretty boring and therefore did not listen to most of it. I am sure some people found it enjoyable, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
Thursday - If I remember right this is the day that JC called George during the first hour. It wasn’t as funny as when Art had him on Sunday, but still far more entertaining than most callers. The rest of the show was with Eric Hufschmid. According to the show summary he was suppose to be talking about 9/11, but when I tuned in which I guess was the end of the first hour with him, he was talking about how we didn’t go to the moon. George was quite irritated with him. After break George returned with Hoagie and for the second time that week let him take over hosting duties. Hufschmid was so “out there” that he made Hoagie look pretty darn smart. Hoagie would debunk Hufschmid stupid theories and then Hufschmid would come out with another one. It was really a very entertaining interaction and I would have to say almost as funny as JC with Art on Sunday had been.
Friday - First two hours were ghost hunters Scott, Doug and Will. They were fun, but not as scary as Brendan and Barbara who will be on Sunday. The rest of the show was open lines and from what I heard as dull as normal.
Saturday - Ian Punnett spent the first hour mostly talking about the Ohio scream. He had on a eyewitness to a werewolf or what the witness called Man-dog. The rest of the show was spent with Dr William Campbell Douglass talking about tobacco benefits. Although I would really like to believe this I don’t think I can bring myself to do it. It did give me some things to think about though and all and all was a interesting show.
I noticed on http://www.binnallofamerica.com in the Hoag to Hoag update that RCH appearances for the year are now at 40. Maybe that explains why he hasn't got around to updating his blog.
I seem to have caught a virus from my wee nephew. I knew he had one, but Aunties think they can't catch such things from babies. Hopefully it will be better by Monday or I will have to do something I hate, visit a doctor.
A NM minute - Apparently the hard work of the New Mexico political machine has paid off and Canon AFB will not be closing. I believe they threw more land for the government into this deal, as if the US government does not own enough land in NM. Although I think Utah holds the record for the state the Government owns the most land in.
Everyone please keep New Orleans in your prayers or send them good vibes, whatever you want to call it. New Orleans is a wonderful city that I would really hate anything bad to happen to. It isn't that I would like it to happen anywhere, but the truth of the matter is that if that hurricane hits New Orleans it will do a lot more damage there than it would anywhere else since they are way below sea level.
Peace, love and all that jazz.

I really don't know about fatty foods, I still think it has more to do with genes and the preservatives. I think you can over do anything including fatty food and make yourself sick. That is my problem I have a addictive personality. I can never just have 1 piece of chocolate.
Sorry you aren't feeling well, Lesley. Hope your health improves soon.
Great recap of C2C. We agree on most episodes this past week. Hoagie had his hands full with Hufschmid, but it was pretty damn funny. When Hoagland's the voice of reason, I'm scared.
Yes, he's up to 40 now, smashing his record of 30-something last year. I figure he'll get up to about 60 or 70 at this rate, which is stunning when you think about it.
Sounds like more underground bases and UFO research will be underway in NM now that they have given up more land. Does all the underground count ? I bet the gov't is using more of that than they let on.
Too bad about New Orleans. Fill up your gas tank now before the gas price reflects this hurricane.
Once again, hope you feel well.
Since it seems that Hoagie is on several times a week now that he has become "science advisor" it could go even beyond 70. Judging by the way George let him take over twice last week I think they have some consiracy going to try to get him in as host on those 2 leftover Sundays.
Hi lesley -
Sorry to hear you're ill.
You got the highlights dead on...JC and Hufschmid were hilarious.
And binnall, I fully agree about Hoagland...when HE'S the sane one on the dais, yikes!!! LOL
Excellent post, lesley, and stay away from the pesky young'uns, ya hear! LOL
