Coast to Coast Rewind

Sunday - Art Bell was once again on the global warming theme with guest Richard Somerville. Somerville is a theoretical meteorologist, whatever that is. Global warming is now a main stream topic and I think it is time for c2c to limit the amount of shows on this topic. Too boring for me.
Monday - Charlie Carlson was the guest and he talked about strange Florida. This show had a bit of everything, ufos, skunk apes, coral castle and other esoteric weirdness. Carlson was an interesting guest and I look forward to future interviews with him.
Tuesday - First half hour, Linda Moulton Howe dropped by to discuss the photos of the strange craft, which someone had sent to c2c and others that were sent to MUFON. There was some speculation that they are military drones. Second half hour, Brother Hakim Bey discussed his theories on Atlantis. Then it was the secret door again. I didn't enjoy the secret door part of the show because none of the guests seemed to stick around for more than 5 minutes, to me it was a complete waste of Jordan Maxwell who should be given a full show. Other drop ins were Richard Hoagland, The Dream Dudes (ick), Dannion Brinkley, Dr. Roger Leir and Jack the Ripper investigator Trever Marriott.
Wednesday - Loren Coleman did a great first hour. He talked about the giant turtle photos that are probably just a decomposing whale, black panther sighting, bigfoot (of course) and Noory managed to get in his dinosaurs roaming the earth question, as he always does. The rest of the show was Robert Bruce talking about astral projection, which I found pretty boring and much like any other astral projection show.
Thursday - Although I listened to a lot of this show with Dr. Cliff Pickover, I can't remember much about it except that he has a new book out about a virtual shopping mall.
Friday - There were quite a few pop ins during the first hour and none of them very interesting. Hoagland showed up for the second time this week. Rosemary Ellen Guiley's pop in during the last hour was the highlight of this show. Guiley talked about Ouija Boards and curses.
Saturday
c2c live with Ian Punnett - Ian's guest was Jeffrey Smith who talked about genetically modified foods. Far from my favorite of recent Ian shows, but interesting.
c2c am with Art Bell - Mark Eberhart was Art's guest and he talked about addiction to oil. I have heard enough oil shows to know that I would find this boring so instead I watched the DVD, Leonard Cohen -- I'm your man. That was quite good and I recommend it to any Cohen fan.

For the second week in a row I thought most of the shows were substandard. My favorite show of the week was Monday with Charlie Carlson.
