It is well known that Saddam was well aware of his heritage, and the teachings of the Anunnaki. There were many rumors that Saddam was even creating an "Anunnaki Theme Park" in tribute to the ancient Gods. You can see a rare piece of artwork that shows Saddam standing behind a futuristic backdrop of this theme park, and the Anunnaki standing behind the ancient tower of babel.
