Has the Captain abandoned his ship, er, blog? His fans can no longer bear to wait for the 2500 plus comments to load, especially since he hasn't answered any in ages, so they have started another blog for the down time. It is http://enterprisemissiondrydock.blogspot.com. I certainly hope the person who posted the comment that he would never abandon the Captain's blog and would in fact die for RCH was kidding. Thanks to Eric Swan for giving me the heads up on this little event.
I have been feeling very grumpy lately. I did watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night which made me feel a bit better. Still, I think I am going to stay away from controversial topics and exchanges for a while, until I feel more like myself. I think my disgust with certain people lately (nobody that visits this blog) and their intentionally mean actions towards nice people has been part of the cause for this, probably along with my Fall allergies that often make me feel icky. There is no reason to give these people attention anyway, it is exactly what they want and they don't care that it is bad attention. So I am just going to stay away from topics and people who upset me for a while, maybe forever. OK, probably not forever.

Funny, just before I came over to visit your blog Lesley, I was thinking the same kinds of things about those kind of people, and thinking that it's a wasted effort to try to be rational about them, or with them. You're right, it is exactly what they want; they literally need it to feed off of.
Feeling grumpy, you're entitled, and it will pass. :)
