Yesterday I wrote that Whitley's new book "The Grays" would be out this month. I had thought Whitley told me sometime over the summer that it would be out in January, but I checked on Amazon and they gave a release date of August 22, 2006. So then I checked with Whitley again and he confirmed the Amazon date. I am disappointed about that, but not much I can do about it.

You know I of course knew you and Linda where friends, but it never dawned on me that you knew Whit. I knew you were a fan of dreamland, but wow, that is too cool that you talk to him too. I have been a fan of his since his first book and Warday is still one of my favorite books.
I wouldn't say that I know Whit. I have never met him, he is just nice enough to answer my emails.
