OK, so I don't know what to do about this teflon debate. I love my teflon, but now I have people telling me it causes all types of cancer and various other horrible things. I have the super nice teflon, not the kind you buy at walmart for $8, but the really expensive kind that doesn't scratch and that nothing sticks to, I am not anxious to part with it. At the same time they are saying how bad it is, they are not giving me any alternatives. According to "them" everything else contains heavy metals and could also be bad for me, so what the hell am I suppose to cook in? I guess I will keep my teflon until someone comes up with a alternative. BTW, is there anything that won't somehow contribute to my death? Everything that is good about life seems to somehow be bad for me. I am getting really sick of it. Is it really worth being that cautious to live a few extra years? I have my doubts, though I am sure I would probably think differently if my time was near, I would probably really hope for those extra few year. Even if I had them though, when it is time, I probably will wish for a few more years.
On another subject, it has finally got a bit cold here. In fact, I was freezing my ass off earlier. Now that I have enjoyed such a warm winter it seems all the more cold when it does cool down. On a bright note, apparently they have made enough snow that the beginners hill is open up at the ski hill. So maybe I will get to go snowboarding after all.
It is now almost 5:30 in the morning so I had probably better get some sleep. Take care and keep a eye on that teflon.

Don't worry about the 'Teflon, we're all gonna die when the big one hits anyway. Yep, I'm talking the predicted new and improved _ICE AGE_ that's barreling down on us. So, I would guess we really have nothing to worry about over this global warming thing, since we will be freezing our bunns off, of course the good side of it is I'll be taking a dirt bath before it happens...........

ab5sy - I still have my teflon pans I think there are many things more likely to kill me.
Dimitri - There are tons of sites that will tell you the health risks of teflon, just google "teflon dangers." Apparently DuPont has now been fined a bunch of money for lying about it being safe.
My wife really likes the Foreman Grill but may think twice about using it now. I stick to cast iron. (pun intended)
