"...Seems the 'blond' was leading the 'blind' after all... and all those blond jokes were abundantly appropriate."
To which one individual was moved to respond:
Alfred:
Stan provides an insightful commentary and all you can do is provide a sexist retort/flip comment.
I'll be sure to simply delete any e-mail from you in the future because apparently you have a bias against blonds. And, I am a blond.
I responded in turn:
Yes, delete me by all means, ma'am. Thankfully, then, for you, you won't have to endure the following.
Blond, of course, does not refer to hair color. I observe that there are brunettes and redheads who are excellent representative blonds, while many blonds seem to be able to actually refrain from blond-ism, and that many blonds are male.
...More males than females, actually.
Blond, of course, refers to intellectual intransigence, a lack of creativity, a reflexive bone-headedness, a paucity of imagination, a stark inability to go any further than a scratched surface, and a too ready (or convenient?) willingness to surrender to piqued animosity.
When I keyed this yesterday I reflected for a moment on your concerns. I presumed incorrectly that I needn't worry. I reasoned that everyone would "get it." I erred.
I, of course, apologize for any legitimate offence...
Still, the tone of your note suggests that this isn't really the problem you have with a single throw away comment; however accurate, or me. So the question is begged:
How 'blond' are you?
Your public (or private) apology ma'am, if tendered, will be readily accepted.

Blond is male, blonde is female.
