I totally love that one!
We had rain here yet again. No surprise there, but this time a couple feet of our backyard fell into the arroyo. The roads around here which are dirt roads seem to be impassable at the present time. They have ruts that are a couple feet wide and at least that deep. Luckily I have nowhere to be right now and I imagine someone will come and plow them before I do, at least I hope so. It is really almost unbelievable. Even the local weathermen have now admitted this is the most rain NM has ever had.
We spent part of the evening trying to dam up the arroyo behind our house so hopefully the water will flow around the other way and stop eroding our backyard. It remains to be seen if that works. I have a feeling that water is far more powerful than our dam. So if you don't hear from me it could be that I have washed away.:->
