What a crazy night! After we noticed that the electric pole was about to fall over and called the emergency line the electric company got here quickly, around 9pm. The first problem was that the road that goes to the pole isn't really a road and with all the rain we have had it was full of huge, deep ruts. They first had to call a tractor guy to plow out a road so they could get to the pole. Then they had to dig the hole, set the new pole and hook up the lines to it. It rained at least half the time they were out there doing that along with lightening, but they got it all done. Around 4 am they finally finished. It wasn't until after they left that I notice the old pole was still up with the phone and cable hooked to it and it still could fall over at any time. I don't know if the phone and cable were notified and they will come switch those tomorrow or if someone is going to come take down the pole which could still fall on my sheds or my neighbors house.

Weird. Hope all turns out well. Better get anything good out of the shed, in case the pole comes down.
I am far too lazy for that. If stuff is out in the shed, it must not be very important or it would be inside being used.:-)
