This and That

I wanted to give a little plug for my friend Julie's new album, The Saddest Songs In The World. Well, she isn't exactly a friend, more like a member of my family even though we haven't seen her in several years. She came to stay with part of my family as a foreign exchange student, when she and I were quite a bit younger. She has two CDs with her band Love Julie and this is her first solo CD. I don't think her CD is available in the US yet, but hopefully it will be eventually. I haven't heard the entire CD yet, but my copy is on the way and I am looking forward to receiving it.
Almost election day and my phone has been ringing off the hook with political party calls. I don't answer those calls, but I sure have a lot of messages from important people like Bill Clinton. I adore election day and spend the evening glued to the TV. I guess that probably tells you just how dull my life is.:-)
