I think defense tech would probably consider anyone involved in ufology to be a nut. Stanton has shown that there are lies involved in Lazar's story and really I could believe the entire thing was a fraud except that he really did know when the ufos would be flying. Did he have info from someone who was on the inside? I have no idea, but he was right about that part and for some reason that still keeps me a little interested in the story.

I agree that "UFO nut" is a poor choice of terminology.
"UFO fraud" would have been much better.
