I was watching the Colbert Report yesterday and Daniel Pinchbeck was the guest. Not the normal kind of Colbert guest. In the few minutes he got, he talked about Shamanism and psychedelic drugs. Colbert was pretty easy on him, considering the normal Colbert show.
I also finished up watching season five of 24. The absolute most unbelievable thing about 24 is that we have agents that actually can do all that superhero type stuff and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the bad guy. In the case of last season the bad guy they caught was President Logan, but his illuminati handlers are still on the lose. I suppose in that sense it is real, even if Bush and Cheney were impeached their illuminati handlers would still be free. I have the give 24 kudos for having such a plot last season, I don't think any other show would be brave enough to have a President conspiring with terrorists.
