This and That

It occurred to me last Friday or so that it is really near Christmas and although I have presents for everyone I had nothing else done and everyone will be coming to my house expecting food and such. So yesterday I finally stirred to action and I think except for the desperate cleaning my house needs and wrapping more gifts I have everything pretty much under control now.

The snow storm that was predicted for last night wasn't much of anything. Sure there was some hail and a little bit of snow, but the worst part has been the strong winds. There were 65 mph gusts when I was loading the car at the grocery store, baskets were blowing all over the parking lot. I was trying to hold onto my basket as well as load up the trunk and keeping my fingers crossed that no basket blew into my car and scratched or dented it, but I managed and arrived home safely and undented.
