I had been hoping for the return of BOA Audio today, but editing has taken a bit longer than expected and since Tim would not want to put up an interview without the best sound quality possible, it has been put off for another week. Not to worry BOA audio will return next week with guest John Greenewald.
Last night we went to see Pan's Labyrinth. A truly fantastic movie! A pleasure to watch! This is a fairy tale of sorts, but nothing I would take a young child to see as it is rather graphic. I suppose it would be described as a fantasy movie, but there are many real life things going on too. It is set in Franco's Spain, in 1944. Ofelia is a young girl, her mother has just married a Captain and they go to live out in the country where the new husband and his troops are fighting rebels. As expected the step father Captain is about as evil as they come and Ofelia escapes into what could be a fantasy world, but in this story it is real. That is all I will say. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys fairy tales and fantasy!
