When I first saw this I thought yowsa, I'm seriously going to go check it out as I love the GC area and want to enjoy the awesome scenery and experience in every way I can. (The north rim is my choice, actually) More I thought about it though, the creation looks extremely fugly and it really is an intrusive thing to have jutting out there. Also the tribe is opening up a huge swath of formerly pristine canyonland and I don't believe that's a wise choice. Since it's all done for revenue, something tells me I'll save the time and money.

It isn't needed. The canyon is so incredibly beautiful that it doesn't need touristy gimmicks.
