I am sure that is lens flare, but I have never got a photo quite like that before. You can check out the large version here. The blue orb in the cactus look a bit like pacman in the large photo.
A picture of the newest member of the family is at Lesley's Pets. He just showed up in the pond a couple days ago, I have no clue where he came from.

Hi Lesley. I took a photo that came out very similar to that when I visited Gettysburg last spring. It was taken at Devil's Den. It was a very sunny day so I know it was just a lense flare or something, but in the back of your mind you always think it could be...something else. By the way, cute frog. We have a little frog who visits our backyard pond during the spring and summer months. I named him Bartleby. Also, Bush doesn't need to drink to be a twit, though I'm sure it helps.

If I had taken that at Gettysburg I would be more likely to think it was caused by something else. Although, the area I live in seems to be some sort of weird vortex, so who knows what caused it?
I guess the frog must have escaped from someone's pond, but there is quite a distance between me and other houses, so it is amazing that he made it here.
Yes, Bush is a twit whether he drinks or not. I just feel obligated to point out another of his lies.
