'Deranged tramp' in Cannock Chase?! There were reports of a 'wild man' in nearby Sutton Park..what was his name?...Ahh that's it ..Barkfoot! Cannock Chase I think is not large enough to accomodate a pack of wolves without becoming obvious. You would be amazed though, how relatively large herds of animals such as deer melt away in the blink of an eye! A big cat or rogue dog/ husky could easily hide away here with just the occasional sighting, but a large pack would leave too much evidence. All the same, I might think twice where I sring up my camping hammock in future!!
