Smith was an astonishing gentleman who has taken some unflattering albeit unjustified hits over the last couple of years.
Maybe you didn't know this, but among many other contributions (fully expressed in a compilation provided by Wendy Connors) the conjectured StarTrek "Prime Directive" or policy of non-interference, came to Gene Roddenberry by way of Wilburt Brockhouse Smith... based on a lecture Smith gave in the early fifties about the "boys top-side" and their policy of non-interference with humanity in an official sense, and within which Smith laid out the entire philosophy plus its justification.
Smith reported that his explanation came from those same boys top-side...
Thanks again for the link... Smith was a great man and we should have a memory of him.

I didn't know the prime directive story, very interesting.
I am free of the horrible accounting work and now have time to think of cool things to put up on the blog. I had been wanting to put up one of your videos for a while, but I just yesterday realized how much easier it is to do with the new version of blogger. Unless I am thinking of google video, it used to be a real pain to put up videos on blogger, it never worked right for me before.
Aside from Smith, it is great music and cool visuals and I think everyone with any taste will enjoy it.
