Noory puts another nail in his coffin and a knife in the back of streamlink members

Dear Coast Riders Member, We're happy to announce a new daily Coast to Coast email newsletter, which will provide handy recaps, show info, and special audio links, to keep you updated on the show while you're on the go. In order to redirect our resources for this soon-to-launch project, we're closing the Coast Riders Message Board effective Thursday July 12th, 2007. This advance notice is being provided in order for you to save posts and information, and if you like migrate them to another system. Thank you for your participation in the board, which over the years has produced much spirited conversation. We look forward to communicating with you via our exciting new e-newsletter.
Sincerely,
Lex Lonehood on behalf of CoasttoCoastam.com & Premiere Interactive Services

I knew Noory was losing his grip on reality when he threatened to sue members of the Fantastic Forum because they don't like him, but now he is shutting down the coast rider message boards? OK, maybe it wasn't his decision, but given his freak out over the FF, it sounds like something he would do or talk the network into doing. He wasn't much better liked on his own message boards than he is on the FF.

How c2c can even have the nerve to suggest a static newsletter, put out by them, with their spin on the shows can somehow replace an interactive message board is beyond belief.

There have been message boards at the c2c site since back when it wasn't c2c and was instead The Art Bell Show. The big difference back then was that you didn't have to pay to use them, they were totally free.

If the message board is truly closed down on the 12th, even though I don't post there often, I will be canceling my streamlink membership in protest, as will many others. I have Radio Your Way and really no need for steamlink, other than it is slightly more convenient. I will not in good conscience be able to support c2c by paying money to them, should that come to pass.

On a slightly different topic, the live Roswell show last night sucked, except for Richard Dolan and Stephen Bassett. Friedman and Marcel were OK, but we had just heard them on the show. I will have more to say about that in c2c rewind tomorrow, especially about the SINGING!

Closing the streamlink board is certainly a slap in the face to all of the customers that the show clearly doesn't appreciate. One does have to wonder if they even understand that conversation and exchange between fans is the point of a forum in the first place -- a function that their idiotic e-newsletter could not possibly replace. Almost as much a sham as the "live chats" they advertise.

The Roswell show was a true disappointment. And really, inexcusably so. The show had such potential, its success was virtually guaranteed -- yet it somehow managed to seriously lack in substance. Only George could've screwed it up so bad. And hey, isn't Hoagland a self-proclaimed critic of ufology? What business did he have there? I guess about as much business as he has pretending to have a clue about anything he talks about.

I couldn't bring myself to listen to that show last night. What a waste of potential.

I have yet to listen to the show, but it sounds like I'm not missing much.
