As mentioned in the link below, Aaron Russo has passed away. Not only did Aaron make the great documentary film Freedom to Fascism, but anyone who has ever heard him tell of his life knows that he was a truly fascinating man, a real character (I mean that in the best possible way). He had run ins with the Mafia and Mafia Politicians while running a nightclub in Chicago, he dated Bette Midler and was involved in several big Hollywood movies and that is just touching on Aaron Russo's life and adventures. Really we shouldn't mourn Aaron too much, he had a life that was full enough for at least a dozen men. Still, I and many others will miss him. Cheers to Aaron Russo, he lives on in spirit!
