This is not really a coast to coast rewind. I am not sure what to do about this, I occasionally still enjoy c2c, but I am not sure I listen enough to keep this column going. It may start showing up only when I have listened enough to really have something to say.

Wednesday was the big Stanton Friedman vs. Michael Shermer debate. I had planned to listen, but then decided that I could not possibly stand to listen to 3 hours of Shermer, even if Friedman was also there. So instead I will refer you to Alfred Lehmberg's great post at UFO Updates.

I listened to most of c2c with Ian Punnett and William Henry last night. This was much different than interviews Will Henry does on Dreamland or c2c with George Noory. The biggest difference was that Punnett occasionally called Henry on his interpretations, thereby causing W. Henry to admit that they were only one of many interpretations, whereas he normally makes them sound not like interpretations, but fact. Still, that is not to say that Ian was not nice to W. Henry, he was and maybe a lot more than I would have liked. I can't blame Ian though, WH was a nice guest and it is hard to be too mean to someone who is being so pleasant. Really I thought WH sounded like a completely different person than the one he is on Dreamland or even c2c with George Noory.
Still, not one of the Ian shows I would recommend. Is it my imagination, or since Ian has moved from c2c live to c2c am, have they been giving him crappier guests? I think they have. They had incentive to make the early show work, but c2c am they have a built in audience for and I don't think they care who the guest is.
My prediction that there would be a guest talking about Pat Tillman was completely wrong.

Looking ahead there are a couple of what may be good shows: Monday is Doug Yurchey discussing Telsa and Atlantis. Thursday is John Zaffis and Andrew Calder talking about demonic possession.

That was sneaky of you. :-)

I will post that link in my update tonight.

I am glad someone listened. I couldn't put up with Shermer, even if Stan was kicking ass. I could only picture Shermer taking over the entire conversation like he did on Larry King. I am happy to hear that wasn't the case.

Oh no... Friedman pushed back... hard! He took no prisoners, saw Shermer driven before him... heard the lamentations issued from the Shermerian host... you know the drill.

The Fastblast tally at the end of the evening was 80 to 20 for Friedman.

"Rock marked and bleeding Sherm writhed on the floor to prove at the last that his less was not more."
