When I'm kayaking I come across huge pike in the reed edges. All other fish are spooked by the boat, but not pike. In Sutton Park in the 80's a large rogue pike had to be taken from one of the pools because as small children were feeding the ducks with bread it would come up and snatch them (the duck not the children!) and drag them under.

Other than the carp in my pond, I know nothing of fish. I have seen some pictures of really huge catfish, but I had no idea that Pikes got so big.
