Recently I received three free magazine subscriptions with something I ordered. One that I chose was Sunset Magazine, which is about life in the west. It has articles about places in the west, recipes, crafts and so on. When I was thumbing though it today I came across this ad for New Mexico. Your can view the entire ad here. I just thought it was strange. I mean I know that there is tourism here due to Roswell and other space related things, so probably it shouldn't seem strange. Still if I were developing an alien related ad for NM, those aren't really the friendliest seeming aliens. I know they try to make them friendly seeming with their chili t-shirts and all, but I still think they are a little creepy.

Have you seen the TV ads Lesley?
Here's a link to the ads from YouTube.

Kinda reminds me of the Geico Caveman ads.
Vaguely look like the creatures from Alien, and I'll betcha the success of the cavemen spawned this campaign.
