I saw this on the news. I like this sort of thing, it seems a bit of fun. It might be a puplicity stunt but someone has gone to a lot of effort carving these figureheads. I've seen some CCTV footage, it shows a youngish IC1 male in a small light coloured hatchback, possible a Toyoa Yaris. The carvings are from sandstone, highly identifiable in type by area, surely this is the key in order to find out what quarry he is sourcing his stone.
