Although magic mushrooms have been made illegal in the UK, it's virtually impossible to enforce as Fly Agaric grows everywhere. Even on the front grounds of the local police station, as was pointed out to the chief of police after a community meeting with local people where he promised to come down hard on the production and sale of narcotics!
