The modern world seems to think it has a monopoly on technology. The ancients are crude, knew little. We must ask, if our world was destroyed today, in 10,000 years would there be any signs left of our discoveries. Books would rot away, computers records lost, metals corroded to mere lumps. A few stone relics would survive, ruins of buildings and roads. What would be made of an out of town shopping centre...a huge ruin, roads coming in from across the country, digging reveals goods of all description...offerings to the gods? A place of religious importance perhaps, how would they interpret it? A sign "Keep off the grass" written in severals languages could be the futures 'Rosetta' stone!
