Apparently there is a big fire somewhere near my house. I don't know if the Manzano fire has worsened or what, but it was almost too smoky to breath outside earlier. Lots of firetrucks went by to the east all night. I don't know why the local news channels bother to have websites, they only seem to update them once a day and I can't find any news source with any information about what is going on. I guess I could try listening to local radio.
Update - According to the news this morning all that smoke was caused by just one house in the canyon east of me. It caught on fire due to a dirty chimney.

I half expected you to be off out taking some pictures.
Chimney fires can be really bad as they spread quickly throughout the whole house. Hope no one was hurt.
I probably would have driven up there to find out what was going on and take photos if not for the smoke. We are in canyon here with mountains almost 360 degrees around, there was no wind and the smoke was trapped. It was really bad.
Luckily nobody was hurt.
