I'd completely forgotten about the frogs falling from the sky incident. It happened about a mile from where I live. They were only small juvenile frogs, probably sucked up by a small whirlwind from one of the many pools in the park. I do have vague memories of a short shower of Mackeral in the area in the seventies, but then Britain is renowned for its unpredictable weather!
