The other article does say the ground is starting to cool, so hopefully no underground volcano is going to explode next week.

I hope you're having a good time! Wish I was there with you -- I'm from Southern California, and miss it. So hug a palm tree for me.
Sadly the trip is not purely for fun, more for business.
Still I should find some time to make it to the beach and hug a palm tree. I am staying just a block away from Ventura beach. I have never been there. I am hoping since school has started it will be uncrowded.
Ventura beach used to be my stomping grounds before I joined the Army.
