This was a front page story in my neck of the woods. In all seriousness, it's an absolute tragedy. The girl will never be a functioning human being, she might be able to dress herself someday and not soil her underwear, that's about it.
The other tragic thing about it is, her mom (the person who raised her in a closet) does not comprehend what she has done! She's upset that some bad men came and took her baby!

URRR! that stuff really pisses me off.
Did the mom at least go to prison or something?
