The Daily Circus

F#ck! Yesterday I receive a notice for jury duty!

I can't believe the kinds of personal questions they ask of the form! What party I am registered with. Have I or anyone in my family ever been sued or sued someone -- they also want explanations for that. What religions or organizations I belong to? Have I or any family members been a victim of crime and so on. Yes, I know why they ask those things, but I still find it intrusive.

I can't possibly do jury duty at the time they want. Hopefully I can convince them of that.

Nothing the least bit esoteric to report. I spent most of yesterday cleaning my house. It is really super clean now or at least for me. I don't know how I am still alive with all the dust that there was. My office is still a total mess though. :-) That is always the last thing to be cleaned because once I clean it I can't find anything for months. Maybe I will get around to it sometime soon or maybe not -- I am pretty fed up with cleaning for now.

I had to turn in my jury duty notice a few months ago. Haven't heard anything yet but I agree with you here.

Wanted to stop by and thank you for your great work here, always lots of fun things to read about, and thanks for linking to my site. I'm very honored! Aloha!

Maybe I would change my mind if it actually happened, but I actually would love to be on a jury.

I am a big spoiled baby. I don't like being told that I HAVE to be anywhere unless I choose to be there. Besides which, it is in the morning and I am not and have never been a morning person.

So if I could do it on my terms I would be OK with it. :-)
