I doubt that Christians are the only ones ... but many Christians do see parallels to the Nephilim of Genesis 6: "6:4 The Nephilim [Fallen Ones] were on the earth in those days (and also after this) when the sons of God were having sexual relations with the daughters of humankind, who gave birth to their children."
It is interesting to note the words enclosed in parenthesis "(and also after this)".
The "good news" (gospel) that many contactees relate as having come from the ETs is very much in opposition to the "good news" of the Biblical Gospels. It is a hodge-podge amalgum of new-age gobbledygook.
As Jesus warned: "24:4 Jesus answered them, “Watch out that no one misleads you. 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many."
It's a warning that rang true then and now. ... Don't be fooled.
