I just bought our tickets to Seattle yesterday. TDF and all my other blogs will go without regular updates from (at least) Jan 10 - 16. However, I will have internet access and probably post updates here at TDF.
Although, had I the choice, I would not choose to visit WA state in the winter. Still, I haven't been there in a long while and we all know that WA is full of Cryptid, Esoteric and UFO lore. I am hoping that I will get to visit the Seattle Museum of Mysteries. I have a feeling that it probably will be silly, but I will still go if I have the chance.
As you may know -- I hate flying, it is one of the few things that scares me. Aside from my pets that is my biggest concern. Luckily, we stop in Denver to change planes and after that point I can have a drink to relax me. New Mexico has some stupid law that prevents you from drinking on a plane leaving or entering the state or some incredibly stupid law like that.
Other than that, I am trying to figure out how to pack enough winter clothing for 6 days in a carry on bag. I hate having to check luggage.

Have a safe trip Lesley. I know what you mean about flying but it will be fine. Washington (near me, I'm in Oregon!) is a weird state all right ... I know the Yakima reservation and area is "way strange" -- have fun!
I doubt that I will get to leave Seattle. I suppose I will go to the top of the space needle and await the space brothers. :-)
