I am feeling a bit Christmasy now that I pretty much have my shopping done. The hard part was buying for my niece Mina who is now 6 years old. She lives with her dad (and his big family) in Illinois now and I haven't seen her in about 1 1/2 years, so I no longer know what she really likes, what other people are buying her (to not buy the same thing) or even what size she wears. It makes me sad that I don't know any of those things. I talk to her on the phone, but it just isn't the same as when I used to get to spend time with her, take her places and do things together. Still, I am happy that she is happy even though I don't get to see her all the time like I used to.
Now if I can just get my packages wrapped and the ones going out of state sent out on time all will be well.
As you can probably tell -- I spent yesterday shopping. I don't know about this so-called recession, everywhere I went was packed with shoppers. I suppose slightly less busy than previous years, but not really a noticable amount.
I have absolutely nothing esoteric to report today. Maybe tomorrow.

I saw this just now and thought I might bring it to your attention in case you missed it. I figured you might like to post it in Land of Enchantment and here of course before it gets too old. Brian (HBCC) was away having his back checked out of town and just started re-posting his sightings again today, so it's 4 days old now. Really interesting UFO sighting.
