That is just a photo I snapped yesterday -- I loved that big blob of light coming down. I am sure there is probably a logical explanation for it, but it still looks cool.

We did get snow yesterday. It is the most we have got so far this winter, but probably not more than 2 inches. I am hoping it will melt today or at least off the road to my house. The highway will be fine, it is getting up and down the dirt road to my house that is normally the hard part. I think it is about 10 degrees here with windchill right now. Even Pooka doesn't want to go out and she had tons of fur, although I am not sure how considering how much of it is always on my carpet, furniture and clothes, it is a wonder she has any left on her body. :-)

Oh, I am totally loving Adam Gorightly's new book James Shelby Downard's Mystical War! It was really hard to put down and I thought I would finish it last night, but it looks like it will be today sometime. Now I must have James Shelby Downard's The Carnivals of Life and Death: My Profane Youth: 1913-1935 and will probably order it in just a moment.

The instability of the weather systems out here in the Midwest is awe inspiring in a rather dreadful way if this is a prelude of a trend as many suggest it is. We went from -3 to 50+ in 12 hours. From eighteen inches of snow to drenching thunderstorms and flood warnings.
Tonight, we are due to return back again to snow. We have intermediate paranormal phenomenon and now it seems the weather is as well.

We have friends and family in both Il and WA state and I noticed the same trend in both places. Seattle had such a storm that the phones were down for days. Now it is warm enough to only be raining, but that may be causing floods with all the melting snow.

The weather here has been fairly normal though.
