I am sure McCain and/or Bush supporters will feel differently, but to me today is a real holiday! Aside from that, it is true American history in the making. Children born from this point on will be told by their parents, teachers and others about the day the first black President was sworn into office -- that is irregardless of whether Obama is a great President or not.
You don't have to be in DC to celebrate. I know Albuquerque has plenty of Inauguration festivities going on and I am sure that most other places do too. So take some time out and do a bit of celebrating with all the happy people in your area!
