Over at LOE, I am following a local serial killer case. So far, 11 bodies have been unearthed and digging is still going on. Now all these bodies are from 2004 - 2005 from what the police know so far. So where has this killer gone? Is he dead, in prison, moved somewhere else or has he simply moved his burial site? Someone pointed out over at LOE that this is getting no national coverage, they are right and I can't figure out why. Dahmer killed 17 people over years -- here we have someone that killed at least 11 (mostly prostitutes and drug users) in only about one year. I am not sure that 11 in one year is a record, but it seems like it is.
My IR lens still hasn't arrived. Yeah, I expect too much since I just ordered it on Friday. It was a shame though because there were some interesting chemtrails yesterday. Of course, it isn't like they won't be back. Fingers crossed that my lens arrives today!

CNN.com had a story up the other day, but other than that I haven't seen any national TV coverage.
How did he bury so many people (10 feet deep?) without raising any suspension? Than again the west mesa (at the time) was pretty desolate.
I bet the killer is in prison.
I think they said that the grave they found yesterday was 15 feet deep. Whoever he is or was, he was in good shape -- it isn't easy to dig a hole that deep.
If he is in prison, let's hope he never gets out.
There is a subtext that speaks loudly about the value judgments our society places on the unfortunate, the dispossessed and poor. If these were upper class victims, the media would fall all over itself. All of these were someone's child, sister or brother. Sad.
You are absolutely right Bruce. Had these women been upper class, even middle class -- I doubt there would be 11 bodies. People would have cared that they were missing and the police would have started a manhunt for their abductor in 2004.
