Wednesday night TV

Last night was Wednesday and my favorite TV night because my 2 favorite shows are on -- Lost and UFO Hunters.

I don't even know where to begin with Lost, but I know where to end -- that shocking ending! As cool as that was, I really hope Ben isn't dead. If he is dead, how is that going to screw up the time line? Ben was like the major player on the island. Now there is Locke, but who was controlling things all those years before? It is going to be really interesting to find out. Well, that is if Ben is really dead.

UFO Hunters did the Dulce Base episode last night. Really a good episode. I am still thinking about that cow and the fetus. Yes, it does sound more like a experiment done by humans. Kevin was totally bearable this week. I don't know if they just edited out his most cutting skeptical remarks or if I judged him too quickly from the previous episode. Likely I was too quick to judge him, but we will see. Pat seemed not to be himself in some of the episode. He looked really tired and I think the horrible things he was hearing may have been freaking him out a bit. Can't blame him for that, if there is any truth to those stories it would be hard to think of something more horrible.

I heard from my niece's grandmother yesterday and she (the grandmother) has a medical problem that will prevent them from making the trip here. So I could still hitch a ride to Dulce. Now the problem is that I would have to get up really early in the morning because Dulce is like 4 hours away and the conference starts at like 10 am. Why do they always start so damn early? So probably I will pass. Had I known sooner I may have tried to book a room and went up the day before with someone. Anyhow, I am sure someone will tape it all for me and I can hear all about it from Norio, Mike and others.

I should also mention for anyone in the 4 corners area, the Aztec conference is also this weekend. Aztec is the 27th and 28th and Dulce is the 29th.

I don't think Ben is dead. Remember what Daniel said. What happened, happened.
I'm still not liking Kevin.

I was thinking about that earlier. I don't think Ben is dead either. I certainly hope not.

BTW, we still don't know where Faraday went.

I'm sure Ben isn't dead. Angry probably, but not dead.

As to UFO Hunters, at some point last night I was thinking that they seem to be setting up/editing the team with two polar opposites and Pat stuck in the middle. It was almost comical to me. Bill would follow an innocuous comment with "that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt" and Kevin would respond to evidence by saying something like "it certainly looks like sand, but we'll have to test it further to be sure."

I don't recall it ever striking me to such a degree until the last two episodes.

Hi, Lesley -

I saw your post on the UFO magazine forum and navigated here to see more regarding the UFO Hunters Dulce episode.

Your question (posted on the UFO mag forum) about the disposition of the cow fetus is critical. If reasonably preserved samples are available, gene probe testing can quickly reveal its genetic identity. Frozen tissue might suffice, depending on the elapsed time and the precise conditions of storage.

Given the strange events on the mesa and the fact that photos/documentation were collected and saved, perhaps someone also deemed it important to preserve this physical evidence.

It will be interesting to see the answer to your query. Doubly so if there is something to test.

GL -- The reason it never struck you before the last two episodes is because that is when Kevin joined the show. I miss Ted.

Tyler -- I don't think there is any chance of anyone getting their hands on that fetus even if it is still around. Sounds like Gabe and the vet involved are too scared. Secret base or not, strange things happen in that area and I suppose they have reasons to be scared.
