Gym Shootings

The PA gym shooting rampage brings up creepy memories for me. Several years ago, I belonged to a certain gym (not the one I go to now) and one night as I was leaving a man was shot. I had been just about to walk out the door when I noticed that several guys were arguing with another guy (all of them body building types), right there in front of the doors. I heard the one guy shouting for them not to shoot. I turned around and hid behind a wall inside, within a couple seconds there was a shot. The guy wasn't killed, just shot in the arm, but I never felt the same about that gym and quit going there soon after. Obviously, that was a personal thing against one guy and not the entire gym, but it was still very creepy. I had never been that near to someone being shot and I hope I never am again. In that case I think steroids had gone to their heads, but it remains to be seen what the problem was with the PA shooter. Anyhow, it is why I now belong to a gym with mostly family type people and no body builders (at least not that I have seen). It is more expensive and really worth it just to not be around muscle obsessed men. BTW, I don't find huge muscles the least bit attractive. I think they are only attractive to other men.
