UFO Gatekeepers

I just have to make a few comments on Michael Salla's post, which is linked below. What Salla isn't realizing is that these "gatekeepers" aren't only debunking Exopolitics. Some of these same people attack anyone that they feel doesn't do research or doesn't approach the topic in the way that they think is proper. They even attack people that have had experiences that don't fit into their box. They try to cloak it as some noble mission to save Ufology, but anyone that listens to them for more than 5 minutes realizes it is really a mission to try to make themselves look far superior to anyone else. They are the only ones that "get it" and the rest of us (except those that totally agree with them) are a stupid mass of people in need of a leader -- them.

That said, I have noticed the same trend in Exopolitics. Certain individuals that think they are the only ones that know what is going on and the rest of us should just shut up because we can't possibly figure out anything on our own.

Yeah, I know, I have been over this ground many times before, so I will stop now.

I just wrote a piece entitled "Secret Decoder Rings" that simply observed that more time and energy is spent on human affairs in this phenomenon than the phenomenon itself. This is a textbook example.
This free floating lecture as a reply to (?) is addressed to no one individual or group yet specifically cites hysteria? This is a nuanced approach? This atypical evangelical movement is xenophobic..and hectoring while seeking election to some imaginary office of responsibility for the unwashed. And so it goes.

Indeed! I have often said that more time is spent pointing fingers at what is wrong than any actual investigation of phenomenon. It would be humorous if it wasn't so harmful.

I don't trust anything that is considered a "movement" or even a formal group. Those always turn religious, no matter how they start out.

So very true, as many of us have ranted about, and continue to ...

While some are busy playing UFO Gatekeeper, the UFOs themselves are doing their thing, but so many are not paying attention to that -- too busy playing UFO Police.

Let's use a little common sense here. Most of the media and the public are UFOs 101 Exopoloits and Disclosure were presenting to the media UFO 104. It was a mistake and because of it the press stop coming. Lesley Kean on the other hand with some financial backing in the November press conference presented UFO !01 and had the press around the world in attendance. Mz. Kean has more common sense than Salas, and Greer combined.
