I would like to go to sleep, but Pooka is outside barking at stuff and won't come in. I know there were coyotes earlier and there is no way to get her inside if she feel her territory is in danger. Even bribing with food doesn't work. I could go to sleep and leave her out, but I always feel a bit worried to do that when I don't know for certain what she is barking about. She doesn't bark that often, but tonight she has been barking most of the night. I went out a little while ago to try to scare whatever it was away with my huge muscles and frightening appearance, but apparently it didn't work. I will give her a few more minutes and then I am giving up. Luckily the neighbors are far enough away that he barking doesn't bother them, or at least they have never complained.
