I was really happy to see Kathryn Bigelow and The Hurt Locker taking home the little gold guy last night. I am not hatin' on Avatar. I enjoyed Avatar very much and actually more than The Hurt Locker. That said, anyone with any talent should be able to make a really entertaining film for the amount of money Cameron spent. Well, and of course, I liked seeing a woman finally win as best director. If I had been voting, my vote would have been for Inglorious Basterds for best picture, but I hadn't seen all the films (I think just the 3 I have mentioned) and I do love me some Nazi killing.
The dude abides though...
