I get bored with the look every once in a while and blogger had new templates! Finally a 3-column! Although, I am still working on it because I have to shrink down some of my link graphics.
Yeah, I'm the same way. The first incarnation of IHW was completely different. Then I decided I didn't like it and redesigned the whole thing. Lately, I've been getting the bug again, but I'm trying not to think about it, because I don't really have the time. I think I will be changing the header graphic soon, though, and possibly something new in place of the lesbo ufo triangle.
I like the new look, Lesley! Nice and neat. I'm rethinking mine now. Hmmmm. The two column format just looks like some geeky kids MySpace page. 3 seems to tighten things up a bit. Very nice!
Thanks Erik! You have no idea how many years I have wanted blogger to add a 3-column. I have had a 3-column on wordpress for ages and love it, but it is especially great here where I have even more links and sidebar thingies.
Mee too!! I have been scratching my head for years trying to figure out how Frank Warren geeked his site and I just don't have all of the required patience to go through all of the HTML and rewrite the appropriate lines of script and then the nightmare of finding again what you rewrote in case you cocked up a bunch of it. Daunting to say the least. So, two columns it has been. But not for much longer!....
Well heck...I went ahead and bought my domain name so now I'm a dot com'er like Deirdre. I had to do it what with all of the original material I've been posting lately. I was getting nervous with copyrighting which I also took care btw.
@Lesley- where did you find the new blogger templates? I can't find them on the Layout Dealie. I want my three columns dammit!
I found it and I did it. No 3 columns though. I tried it. It didn't look right. But I have a much wider 2 columns that's neater and easier on the eyes plus a new Header Graphic that I made to celebrate my Dot Com status. I hope y'all like it. Thanks so much for helping out. Lesley, I really dig your new look too. Great site!
I forgot to mention that if you use the 3-column you have to resize some of your graphics because the shrink to fit doesn't work for all of them for some unknown reason. I also had to resize my banner because it wasn't fitting right either. There were a couple of widgets that I had to totally delete, but nothing important.
Yeah, I had to delete the Paratopia Player Widget. I don't think anybody was using it anyway. I didn't like the ideas of having to shrink the graphics and make things unnecessarily difficult for folks with wonky vision. I think all in all it came out OK. I like the new Header Graphic the best.

I am a doofus. I have to wait until I get home anyway. Half this stuff is firewalled at work. What a PITA!!
You have to find the "blogger in draft" dashboard instead of the regular one. You can only access the new templates from there.
