Just one last reminder to tune in for the Ancient Aliens premiere on The History Channel tonight. I personally feel that the History Channel has done a horrible job on PR for this show. If not for Giorgio Tsoukalos I wouldn't even know about this show. I don't watch THC all the time, but I watch Pawn Stars, American Pickers and normally catch a few other shows every week and I haven't seen one ad for Ancient Aliens.
Maybe I am just grumpy because I have had a toothache for the last several days and the soonest opening the dentist had is for next Monday. I think it is a wisdom tooth that I should have had pulled many years ago, but I am a chicken when it comes to things like that. Yes, I have some percocet, but honestly I don't know what people see in it - does nothing for me except make me feel dizzy. Advil and wine actually seems to work better for the pain. I thought about staying drunk until next Monday but eventually decided against it.
I haven't even done a write up for LOWFI on our UFO meeting last Saturday. Norio's mini concert was pretty awesome! We also ended up with 57 people attending and it was crazy because the community center people had to keep bringing out more chairs for us. I think on average we normally have around 30 people (probably a bit less) so it was almost double normal. Seriously, lots of fun -- I totally forgot about my tooth during the meeting and lunch after.
Well, I will quit babbling for now.

Yeah, the advertising for it hasn't been that great...I didn't even know they were making a series out of it until you mentioned it yesterday. I went ahead and added it to the DVR list...I won't be able to watch it tonight since Lost is on. DVRing stuff might be why I hadn't seen commercials for it though...most stuff I watch is DVRed, so I skip commercials.
I took a percocet once and didn't notice any effect at all.
They rerun it again later, I wouldn't miss lost either.
