Cool article. Somewhat similar perspective to my own.

Wow! That's great! I had your nose much harder than that which is not always, by far and away, the best to be with regard to nose hardness... for _my_ money, eh?

Consider. It's the soft nose bullet making the bigger, more lasting, hole.

Tina's nose, Lesley's nose, or my nose?

Well -- your _altogether_ lovely nose, specifically, but I guess Ms. Sena's also. Ms. Gunter's nasal density has been grokked for _years_, now.

To my knowledge Ms. Sena's nose is still a virgin. Unlike Deirdre and myself which have had metal thingies stuck through them. :-)

Really? Interesting. I admit that I am tied to physics still as I have a deep love for it, but there is much I don't discuss about my personal beliefs, mainly because I have a tendency to want to back it up with something when I cannot.

I am practical when it comes to some things, and even my approach to this topic could be argued as practical. I see the paranormal as a big mess of tangled guitar chords. You can try pulling them apart by grabbing and tugging, but the best method for me has been to start with one chords and work my way through the massive knot.

Specifically, where Tina's article is concerned, I agree with her that there probably are 'baddies' out there, though whether they are actually 'bad' or only what we would consider as 'bad' is another big question.

Which is essentially what Hawking was getting at (IMHO). A lot of people have assumed that his controversial statement was suggesting that Earth is in danger of evil aliens, when I believe he was only suggesting that the probability that some kind of hostile alien would exist in the cosmos. Which, given it's size, I would agree with.

He said himself that he doesn't think any aliens are within 1000 light years of earth, but still, many people have come to take his position as his admitting to an extra terrestrial presence here in our solar system, one which may be deadly.

Hawking also presented a number of other scenarios within his program that were overlooked by the media as they searched for something more meaty and shocking.

Of course, I disagree with Hawking in that I believe ET has probably been here or may currently be here.

I do, however, wince at the idea of aliens protecting us, or that there may exist a sort of 'galactic police'. It could be a possibility, of course, but I am skeptical. That's not to say I think the possible ETs visiting Earth have it in for us, only that our best interest is not necessarily on their shopping list.

She mentioned massive ships, and I'm not sure which she is referring to, unless they are the same ships that I have seen Bob Dean presenting.I am interested to find out more. What I have seen I have not been sold on, but I am open to looking at other information.

When it comes to extra terrestrials (as we commonly understand the term) , my opinion has changed greatly over the last 20 years, and most notably, the last 5. I think something is certainly visiting us, but I am no longer completely sold on whether they are extra terrestrial or not. They could just as well be from some other kind of place, and not necessarily making the long voyage from some distant star-system.

And uh, *giggle* thanks for the nose compliment. One of my favorite features -- which is good since I'm sort of stuck with it!

I'm grokking your nasal density at whole new levels, Lesley.

Jesus - my comments never seem that long when I type them in this little box!

And yes, Lesley and I are definitely not virgin-nosed.

I think Tina just used the term "massive ships" because Hawking did.
