I read your own razor sharp editorials equally and I know this sounds like contrariness, but both of you do have valid points to make. I thought his comments did apply to me in a sense as to the purpose of writing, or what I write about, and my mistake was inadvertently inferring they applied to everyone. I did not take them "personally" but they made me think, as his posts always do. He is a provocateur as much as you. Both of you make me think. I always enjoyed "Saucer Smear" for the same reason. Of course he goes over the top in terms of polite company, social politics etc..I would be amiss not to say I recognize this. Could we all dial back our umbrage? Of course but then we wouldn't be who we are. It would be as dishonest as the mass media. Wouldnt it be refreshing if they criticized each other or more importantly themselves? Look at the b.s that covered the "invasion" of Iraq, or the "evidence" that led to it. I understand where you are coming from and I respect that.
It's hard to wrap your mind around the vast enormity of the charges, isn't it. They go pointedly unaddressed.
...But Ok Bruce, I see where you're coming from, and in the aggregate you should be commended... but let's see how much you're willing to "dial back" when this unrepentant and gloating psychopath, who edits his "record" like a corrupt literary Czar, seriously suggests, out of childish pique, and to the community at large... that _you_ might be having sex with children.

For my part the man owes mt seven figure damages and profuse apologies! I'll collect on both those debts, or keep punching him in the literary throat with every opportunity presenting itself as long as I'm alive... given the gravid antropomorphism of his self-serving "contribution," it's a DUTY.

Alfred I was unaware of any specifics that are more personal in nature that I (was) ignorant of. Frankly, this is between you and Rich, and for me to comment on this situation would be unfair since a danger is to add opinion for the sake of opinion and simply fuel the understandable emotional undercurrent further. Trust me in one thing, I have been the target of slurs and smears, which could take up a small booklet size pamphlet. As I said, I don't presume to be an apologist for anyone, that included both of you as I just feel that something so personal is none of my business. That being said, when and if the time comes I will probably shrug it off which most around me then have many times will accuse me of being ambivalent toward valuing myself. Maybe they are right. Another point is that I am aware that my view point is skewed. Having Aspergers ( if you have read or know someone with this) we tend to run like hell from personal confrontations. All I can say is I admire your writing and beyond anything personal ( which of course is off topic to Ufology) but yet persists, all of this is a damn shame. Period.
