Can you help?

It has come to my attention that Tessa Dick is in need of help, in the form of money.  Now, I know that many of you are burnt out on people asking for donations (one has been begging on a weekly basis for a year now), but this was not Tessa's idea.  Tessa has what is left of her memorabilia of her late husband, Philip K. Dick, up for sale/auction at her blog.  However, I realize that the price of those items is probably beyond what most people can afford during these rough times, which is why I thought that people should also be able to donate in order to help.  Although, I would have loved to have at least one of those items, I can't afford such an expense either, which is why I donated what I could.  I have been friends and following Tessa for at least a year now, she is not someone that is always asking for help -- I have never seen her ask before, so I believe that her need is dire, especially given what she is willing to sell.  I don't ask you to help because she was once married to Philip Dick.  I ask because she is a kind woman that gives time and energy to charities and the overall betterment of mankind, but also just because you should want to help your fellow man/woman in need, if you can.  I am sure that Tessa and her kitties would very much appreciate it and I would too or even if you can't afford to give and have a blog, facebook account or some other way to pass this message on - very much appreciated!  Tessa's paypal addy is: tuffy777@gmail.com
