I agree with the basic tenets of Bramley's "The Gods of Eden", that the actions of advanced extraterrestrial species won't be seen as friendly at all. I'd assume that they'd be interdimensional as well, regarding physical density as a playground they could rampage through, possibly harvesting at will. Humans will probably seem like interesting ants, but hardly more than that. We consider third density as our home while they would regard that as trivial unintelligence with disastrous results.
