My friend Frank De Freitas sent me his 1961 issue of Flying Saucers magazine! I didn't beg, cry or even ask, so that is just totally awesome! I haven't read it yet, but I will and probably report about it in next weeks edition of Grey Matters. I do see that there is an article by Frank E. Stranges, "Preacher--What About U.F.O.s?" That should be great! No food porn in this baby! A couple of b&w photos and a couple drawings, that is it. I am not even sure who that guy on the cover is, but I think it is Raymond Palmer, editor of Flying Saucers and also the great scifi magazine Amazing Stories. Oh yeah, and the creator of Fate Magazine, probably I am forgetting a few other magazines, not to mention numerous other things.

Thanks Uncle GoGo! You are right. I think I had only seen photos of him old, so I guess I thought he was always old. :-)
