Mostly I try to keep her locked in the closet, but sometimes she escapes. Almost always she tends to escape when someone makes a big prediction (normally of doom and gloom) that doesn't come true.
Unlike most skeptics that would automatically consider such people to be frauds, the skeptic in me doesn't necessarily think it is that way. Often times, I think such predictions of doom and gloom are the subconscious fears of that person that thinks they are channeling them from elsewhere, normally some sort of "master" being. Possibly they are channeling something, but it isn't any "master" it is some sort of trickster. Now a smart person would catch onto the fact that something is amiss in their channeling after the first big fail, but most just go on and on and then make excuses of why the "masters" were wrong. I think that stems from a need to feel special. After all, these great beings are talking to them! So if they are talking to them, they must be smarter and more special than everyone else.
Frankly, anyone promising to post nude photos of themselves for their friends on facebook, has a deep need to feel special. Some of you know of whom I am speaking and she is quite attractive, so I am sure the promise of nude photos attracts lots of "friends," especially male ones.
What is even more amazing is that these people make horribly negative predictions, but if you in some way disagree with them or point out that all their other predictions have been wrong, you are are the negative person -- not them.
Let me end by saying that Nov 14th has passed and nothing horrible has happened. Another prediction of doom and gloom down the drain!

I go over to George Ure's Urban Survival a lot and he's been a proponent of that web bot project. I was curious what he had to say about just another day.
He basically claims 'tipping points' don't necessarily have to be splashy headline events, and brings up earthquakes yesterday and other non stuff. He might have a point about processes vs. events, but if there wasn't anything remarkable that happened yesterday to yak about, how could an internet linguistic program supposedly discover something?
I consider it to be a huge failure if nothing happens soon that can be traced back.
I was actually speaking of a specific prediction made by someone channeling aliens or some such nonsense. The web bot thing doesn't seem entirely accurate either, but I bet it's record is better than most known psychics and channelers.
Oh I see, and I'm sorry I mistook it for something else, Lesley.
The web bot project did have some accurate hits like the Banda Aceh tsunami and 9/11 but there was supposed to be a strong "tipping point" on the 14th that for all intents and purposes was non existent as far as anyone knows.
My fault. I didn't want to say who I was talking about because I think she has had way more attention than she deserves lately.
